JOHN HUDSON TROPHY  - A NORTH WEST MICROLIGHT CLUB AWARD

The Original Trophy was Presented by The Microlight Aviation Club - Popham and passed on to the North West Microlight Club to administer. Awarded to the person or persons who are overall winners of the Round Britain Rally (Can be either 3 Axis and this includes both solo or dual, or Flexwing Dual or Flexwing Solo - i.e there are 3 categories)

2003 Rally cancelled. Trophy returned to NWMC

2002  Merv Middleton and Graham Pritchard

2001 Rally cancelled due to Foot & Mouth disease.

2000  Eddie and Richard Clapham.

1999 Tim and David Cripps for their exceptional victory in a Rotax 5032-stroke Shadow beating many 4 stroke machines.

1998  Steve Slade with a score of10,493 (3 Axis solo)

1997  Eddie Clapham and Richard Clapham with a score of 9,363 (3 Axis dual)

1996  Dick Hall & Chris Joyner (Colin Bodil/Paul Boultby were dual flexwing winners)
