Clubs and Schools encouraged to have closer links with the
The BMAA is the microlight pilot’s representative
organisation and as you know it is steered by volunteers from the membership
who act as directors of the company BMAA ltd. The Board of Directors is
referred to as the BMAA Council.
The BMAA Council wants to have a better system of contact
with the members to make sure that they understand the views of the members and
take those into account when forming policy on their behalf. Clubs and Schools
are the natural gathering places for microlight pilots where discussion takes
place and opinions are aired. To help link the member’s discussion with the
Council policy making we are setting up a contact list for two way
communication and inviting all Clubs and Schools to appoint or cajole a member to
be the BMAA Point of Contact. It shouldn’t be a particularly onerous task, but
the Council believe it will be a very valuable step to improve communications
to make sure they “get it right” for the membership.
If you can nominate a BMAA Point of Contact for your Club or
School please use the form below to advise us.
Thank you for your support.
