Clubs and Schools encouraged to have closer links with the BMAA.

The BMAA is the microlight pilot’s representative organisation and as you know it is steered by volunteers from the membership who act as directors of the company BMAA ltd. The Board of Directors is referred to as the BMAA Council.

The BMAA Council wants to have a better system of contact with the members to make sure that they understand the views of the members and take those into account when forming policy on their behalf. Clubs and Schools are the natural gathering places for microlight pilots where discussion takes place and opinions are aired. To help link the member’s discussion with the Council policy making we are setting up a contact list for two way communication and inviting all Clubs and Schools to appoint or cajole a member to be the BMAA Point of Contact. It shouldn’t be a particularly onerous task, but the Council believe it will be a very valuable step to improve communications to make sure they “get it right” for the membership.

If you can nominate a BMAA Point of Contact for your Club or School please use the form below to advise us.

Thank you for your support.

A cookie is a small file containing text and numbers generated by the website and passed from your browser back to our website when you revisit the site.

A cookie is used here to allow you to navigate the site, log in etc. Without this cookie (called a session cookie), this site would not work properly and so this has already been set.

We use a popular statistics tool called Google Analytics which uses non invasive cookies to allow us to find out how effective our marketing is, based on referencing how you got to our website (search engine, direct, or from another site etc).

We use an animation based rotating image which uses a cookie to know which image was last displayed so that as you move from page to page you are not seeing the same image every time.

We can also make use of third party services such as video clip players which can set cookies, for example to enable them to know that you part played a video clip previously, or to store customised settings such as brightness or volume. Close
