BMAA Permit to Fly fees change


BMAA Permit to Fly revalidation fees.

This is a reminder that any Permit to Fly revalidation that is processed by the BMAA after the 31st March 2014 will be subject to an additional fee of 5 to cover the new CAA fee. (This was announced at the BMAA AGM in 2013 and further reported in Microlight Flying magazine.)

Please ensure that the payment submitted with an application is correct to avoid delay in processing.

The new fees are:



Permit renewal. Up to 390Kg


Permit renewal. Greater than 390Kg


Not permitted in the last 5 years


Registered before 01/01/1984


Max empty weight 70Kg and registered before 01/01/1987
